Designer Drawer is a digital wardrobe for everything you own. You photograph a garment and send it over WhatsApp, Telegram, or the web; it creates a clean image, reads the details, and files it into a searchable wardrobe you can access and share from anywhere.

How do I add clothes?

Accepted Answer

Send a photo the way you already share pictures — over WhatsApp or Telegram — or drop it into the web uploader. You can send several angles of one garment, or the pieces of one outfit, at once and they are grouped together. There is no manual tagging.

Does it really understand Indian ethnicwear?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's the point. Designer Drawer recognizes sarees, lehengas, kurta sets, sherwanis, bandhgalas, dupattas, and accessories, rather than flattening everything into "top" and "bottom".

How accurate is the AI?

Accepted Answer

The AI does the work of cleaning up images and reading garment details, and it gets most of it right — but everything it captures is editable. You review and correct anything, so your catalogue reflects reality, not a guess.

Can I share an item with someone?

Yes. Every item can generate a public link to that item only — no account needed to view it, and nothing else in your wardrobe is visible. Send it to a friend, a stylist, or a tailor, and stop sharing whenever you want.

Can I ask my wardrobe questions on WhatsApp?

Today, WhatsApp is how you add clothes — send a photo and it's catalogued automatically. Asking natural-language questions like "what green outfits do I own" is on our roadmap, not a shipped feature yet. See the WhatsApp assistant page for the current state and what's coming.

No. Designer Drawer's concierge team can catalogue your wardrobe for you — currently available in Delhi and Mumbai. Self-serve cataloguing works anywhere in India. See the concierge page for details.

Are my photos private?

Your wardrobe is private by default — there is no public wardrobe or social feed. Sharing is always a link to one item, created by you. See the privacy & security page for more detail, including points still pending technical confirmation.
